map & compass orienteering at Deer Lakes
The western PA orienteering club will host a meet at Deer Lakes county park (Allegheny county) on Sunday Sept 16, starting at 11 AM and ending at 3:30 PM, with last registration allowed at 2 PM.
Orienteering is a map-based sport in which participants look for and find flags in the woods.
Instruction available to beginners on location.
The event is free for those that have never done this before...
